In the Sunday Mirror she commented on her dimensions: “When I hit 17 I started to pile on the pounds. If you are on TV and you put on weight people are going to notice. I went up to a size 12 and I’m not saying I was fat – at 5ft 4ins I weighed over nine stone – but I just wasn’t comfortable at that size. I just did my growing up and got bigger on screen in front of the nation.”. On twitter she reaffirmed that height, saying she stood “5ft 4”.
