American actor best remembered for playing Duke Shannon on 1960’s TV series Wagon Train. In film he starred in Tarzan, the Ape Man (1959). On ErbZine.com he said “As a bad guy, on MAGNUM P.I., I wore lifts in my shoes so the star, Tom Selleck (like me, was 6’4”) would look better/tougher beating me up. It is difficult to tell an actor’s height on the big screen.
